Some of my christmas presents

Spenderade julafton tillsammans med Maddys och min familj. Började morgonen med frukost och julklappsöppning, sedan gick vi på en bush-walk och efter det käkade vi lunch, fixade oss och fick sällskap en liten stund av Linnea och Dylan (mina room-mates). Sedan åkte vi till Maddys kusin där det vankades middag med hennes kusiner, moster, morbror, morfar osv. Supermysigt och inte så annorlunda jämfört med en svensk jul förutom maten och vädret förstås.

På de australienska julbordet fanns kyckling, anka, rödbetor, fisk, skinka, potatisgratäng och tryffelkaka och rockyroad till efterrätt. Har dock hört att det inte riktigt finns något traditionellt julbord här i Australien utan att man bara äter lite vad som helst. Men detta var vad vi åt i varje fall.

Spent Christmas together with Maddy’s family and my family from Sweden. Started off with opening the Christmas presents in the morning, after that we had breakfast and went out for a bush walk. When we got back we had some lunch and then my room-mates Dylan and Linnea passed by to wish us a Merry Christmas and say hi. After that we went to Maddys cousins house where we had dinner. It was a really nice Christmas-day and an Australian Christmas it’s actually not that different from a Swedish Christmas except for the food and weather of course.

What we ate here in Australia on Christmas day was chicken, duck, fish, ham, potato bake and trifle cake and rocky road for dessert. I have been told though that there actually is anything traditional that you eat for Christmas here in Australia. But this is what we had for Christmas.
